Milo and I went to a dinner party (yep, an actual party) last night at Timmy and Michael's and Grandpa and Papi were bringing dessert -- it turned out to be a cake to celebrate Milo's 26th day with us, how sweet! (Really sweet: fudgy icing on a chocolate cake -- my first chocolate since giving birth, so Milo's first chocolate a few hours later too...) Great fun was had by all!
Above is a very sweet picture of Michael and Milo -- mama sat by the cheese and crackers eating with both hands (what a new experience) while Michael cuddled with Milo for a long time. In other fun news, we had our one-month well-baby visit with Dr. Lundergan, the pediatrician, today, and Milo is 10 lbs. 7 oz. and 22-1/2 inches long (clearly the 24 inches we measured last week was incorrect, ooops) -- he is in the 75th percentile for height and weight, so he's a big boy and growing fast (2 oz. a day, when the average is 1 oz. a day). And no, he's not gaining weight TOO fast, which was my next question to the doc. It does mean that almost every day there's a new outfit that he can't fit into anymore -- he's in 3 month size clothing now, and we'll see how long that lasts!
