A very good Saturday

We had a lovely day today -- lots of happy baby time in the morning, then Milo was relaxed in the bouncy chair on the bathroom floor while mama took a shower (thank you again, young man!), then a hugely successful outing to Annie's house for a post-partum get-together with the women from my yoga class (Sarah, Laura, and Annie), all of us with our babies (sadly, I forgot my camera, so no pics from me of this reunion, but we'll be doing it again soon, and I promise to take photos then). All the babies (ranging from my 6-week-old Milo to Sarah's four-and-a-half month old, Julia) were gorgeous and happy and we were able to sit around and chat about life with infants -- it was really great, and a big step for Milo, to spend 3-1/2 hours away from home and still be a happy camper.

Came home, took a little nap, then Grandpa came over and gave Milo a bottle (lots of bottle practice going on, since daycare starts in three and a half weeks. I'm trying not to hyperventilate about the incipience of that). Here's a very sweet picture -- Milo is totally focused on Grandpa, it was incredibly charming.

Love,

Sara and Milobug
